BW Token ("we") operates the bwtoken.io website and the BW Token mobile app for iOS and Android. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and what your rights are.
bwtoken.io works without accounts. Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, browser user-agent, requested pages) for security and aggregate visitor statistics; for statistics IP addresses are hashed and never stored in plain form. Your theme choice (black / white) is kept in your browser's local storage and never leaves your device. We run no third-party trackers, no analytics scripts and no ads. The site is served through Cloudflare, which may process your IP address to protect against abuse.
The app works anonymously by default. On first launch it generates a random device identifier (a UUID that tells us nothing about you or your hardware identity). Every theme toggle sends an event containing: the toggle direction, timestamps, a session id and counter, app version, operating system and version, device model, language setting, and a hashed IP address. We use this to count your points, build the leaderboard and detect automated abuse.
You may sign in with Google or Apple to keep your points across devices and reinstalls. We then store your e-mail address and the account identifier the provider gives us, plus an optional nickname you choose. The leaderboard shows you as anonymous unless you explicitly enable "show my nickname". We never post anything to your accounts and request no access beyond your basic profile.
All data is stored on our own server in the European Union. We do not sell, rent or share your data with anyone. It is used only to run the BW ecosystem — including converting points into AI-search credits on aigle.se, should you choose to.
You can use the app without ever signing in. You may log out at any time — your device continues counting anonymously. To have your account and all associated data deleted, contact us at [email protected] and we will remove it within 30 days.
The app is a simple light/dark switch and collects no data that identifies a person; it is suitable for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13.
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with an updated date.

bwtoken.io and the BW Token app are provided by the BW project "as is", free of charge. The app is a light/dark toggle that counts your switches as points.
Points are a fun, off-chain score. They are not money, not a cryptocurrency and not a financial instrument; they have no monetary value and cannot be bought or sold. We may later offer to convert points into service credits (for example AI-search credits on aigle.se) — such conversion is optional, and rates may change. To keep the leaderboard and any conversion fair, we may exclude or adjust scores that we determine to be generated by automation rather than a person.
Signing in with Google or Apple is optional. You are responsible for your account with those providers. You may stop using the service and request deletion of your data at any time (see the privacy policy).
Do not attempt to disrupt the service, access other users' data, or misrepresent your identity on the leaderboard.
Nothing on bwtoken.io constitutes financial, investment or legal advice. Content about the $BW token is informational only.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use, or unavailability, of the site or the app. The service may change or be discontinued at any time.
We may update these terms; the current version is always published on this page. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.
